There she goes

I got a call today that my sister has passed. There is going to be a small service st her house and she is going to be buried out back there. I knew dad is upset by this news. No parents wants to outlive their child. Laura is off to college tonight so we are having a family dinner and then driving her to the school which is north. We will help her unpack and then head home so she can get settled with her new dormmates and not having us stick around. I told her sophmore year she can move into the Worthington house on campus.

My first boyfriend

I asked Trevor to drop by and then I asked him oto be my boyfriedna dn then I kissed him. I wanted to let him know how I felt about him before we went off to college. I didn't want some skank trying to steal him away.

Freak strike

The freakiest thing happened I was out side talking to Jennifer and she got struck by lightening. She is ok but I was right next to her I could have been hit as well.

My familys' legacy

Today I had a talk with Laura about her plans for the future. She will be in college soon and I want her to plan what career she will have. Her father and I will not be around forever and want her to be secure and have a job. She could always work at her grandfather's resturant although I am not sure how much longer dad has.

Time for fun

Evan is a total hottie. I put the moves on him and he likes me too. My parents say I can't date until I am 18 and I am so glad my birthday is coming up. I will be off to college to have fun. My mom mad me study all the time so I could get all my skills. So now that I am done with that I can concentrate on other things.

I am lucky

My daughter is pretty self sufficient so I am happy about that. I have a friend with a kid that always wants attention and I don't know what I would so if my daughter was like that.

Working hard

I have been practicing on my mother's surgical dummy. It's pretty fun actually. I went to a friend house the other day from school. He is pretty cute but I can;t have a boyfriend right now. I have to work on gettign shcolarships for college and my grandparents said they would get me a car if I got all A's and got my skills up.

Working hard to hardly work

I have been working hard to get a promotion. Once I reach the top then I will stary doing more things at home since I will have less hours to work.

I am finally a teen! This is so cool. I got tot redecorate my room how I wanted and got my own computer. I am going to get a cell phone from my grandparents. They told me. Grandpa wants me to work for him so I can get some experience which is cool because he runs a resturant.

So proud

Laura is getting so big. We are working on her skills so she can be the best. It's a few more days until she is a teen but I am sure she will be beautiful.
